The Grand Vin of Pédesclaux, very largely composed of Cabernet Sauvignon, fully expresses the identity of Pauillac. It develops great freshness underpinned by a straight, refined structure. Its balance between density and tension points to long ageing potential, characteristic of the great Cabernets of the Médoc, but also to a more approachable style, without sacrificing depth or elegance.
2023 stands out as a vintage with strongly marked terroir nuances, in which each of our 19 soil types expresses itself with full typicity.
Alcohol, yield and vine age are those of the 2025 vintage; they vary from year to year. Only the area above stays stable from one vintage to the next.
