Footprint, parcels and their split are measured on the Compagnie Médocaine’s own parcel survey; elevation, slope and aspect on the Mapbox terrain-rgb digital terrain model, derived from IGN’s RGE ALTI over France. The Cuvelier family, owner of Clos Fourtet (Premier Grand Cru Classé of Saint-Émilion) and of Château Poujeaux (AOC Moulis en Médoc), acquired two Grands Crus Classés located in the very heart of Saint-Émilion: Les Grandes Murailles (2 ha adjoining Clos Fourtet) and Côte de Baleau (18 ha, of which 15 ha are classified).
