Tasting
The nose, initially discreet, reveals itself with aeration to offer fruity notes. The attack on the palate is fresh and tasty. The concentration is there, the tannins are fine and the fruits largely dominate.

Label
Winemaking
Light crushing during vatting. Cold pre-fermentation maceration lasting approximately 10 days at a temperature of 6-8°C. Classic vinification with light daily pump-over Long fermentation: 30 to 40 days
Ageing
Malolactic fermentations in barrels. Aged 60% in new barrels.
Terroir
The fragmented layout of the property offers an interesting diversity of soils, with three main types of terroir: clay-limestone and clay-gravel soils suited to Merlot, clay-gravel and gravel soils for Cabernet Sauvignon, and gravel for Petit Verdot. A soil survey has been carried out parcel by parcel. At once firm and unctuous, this is a wine of great character and great ageing potential, born to span decades. The generous proportion of Merlot in the blend also makes it very enjoyable in its early years.
