Château Guiraud is today the only Premier Grand Cru Classé of 1855 certified as organic. For 25 years the château has worked to apply methods that contribute to creating a balanced ecosystem in which plant varieties and living species can coexist.
80% sandy gravels 20% clay gravels
Subsoils: deep translucent sands and pure gravels shot through with veins of red and white clay, limestone marls and bands of oyster limestone.
Alcohol, yield and vine age are those of the 2025 vintage; they vary from year to year. Only the area above stays stable from one vintage to the next.
