Le millésime 2021 est de grande qualité, caractérisé toutefois par de très petits rendements occasionnés par les épisodes de gel au printemps.
Les vins sont très prometteurs. 2021 a un beau fruité comme 2016 et une acidité importante comme 2007 ou 2001. La matière en bouche est élégante avec une belle longueur.

Terroir
The Sauternes terroir covers 2,200 hectares 40 km from Bordeaux, between the left bank of the Garonne and the Landes forest. The Sauternes appellation takes in the communes of Sauternes, Bommes, Fargues, Preignac and Barsac. The Suduiraut estate extends over 200 hectares, of which 92 hectares are under vine, on soils composed essentially of sandy-clay gravel. The region's microclimate brings sunny, warm autumn afternoons following the morning mists. This causes, or at least stimulates, the appearance on the grapes of Botrytis cinerea, or noble rot.
