Tasting
Deep, brilliant garnet color. Rich and complex nose with aromas of red and black fruits. The attack is supple and round, the wine rich and complex. The tannins are silky, of great elegance and rare finesse. Beautiful aromatic persistence.

Terroir
The vineyard of Château Poujeaux extends in a single block to the north-east of Moulis, on the gravel rises of Grand-Poujeaux. Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot take the lion's share of the property's plantings, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc accounting for only 10% of the vines. Plot-by-plot management of this fine terroir makes it possible to respect the personality of each parcel and each variety, and gives Château Poujeaux its unique character.
