Tasting
The Château Haut-Batailley 2015 is dominated, like its vineyard, by a high proportion of Cabernet Sauvignon (72%). This wine has a deep ruby red color with brilliant reflections. The bouquet reveals intense black fruit aromas, reinforcing the character of very ripe grapes while maintaining a beautiful freshness. On the palate, the fully mature tannins are very seductive, amplifying the persistence and balance of the fruits. The whole thing is full of charm and elegance. This vintage offers a very beautiful harmony, balanced and complex, revealing a Haut-Batailley of great breed.

Terroir
The distinctive character of the Haut-Batailley terroir comes from its situation in the south of the Pauillac appellation, on the border with Saint-Julien. The influence of this neighbouring appellation is felt in the cru, where one finds the grace, charm and delicacy that stand for a femininity often less marked in the wines of Pauillac. This harmonious complexity gives the wine character and a great deal of personality.
