Tasting

Label
Winemaking
The Château has opted for a wooden vat, with filling of the vats by gravity. In 2008, the property was equipped with truncated conical concrete tanks. With small capacities, these vats allow the best plots to be isolated and vinified separately. The wine will be aged for 18 months in French oak barrels, half of which are renewed each year.

Terroir
These are the terroirs of Margaux at their highest point, and one of the highest gravel rises in the Médoc. The light and sunshine that bathe the vines protect them from late spring frosts. A stream acting as natural drainage separates the two rises. From it the vine draws the freshness essential to its development, sheltered from excess water as much as from drought.
