Tasting
Delicate, expressive and complex nose where aromas of black fruits, morello cherry and more floral notes mingle. On the palate the attack is supple, the wine is dense and the tannins silky. Great complexity, lovely delicacy and a very long persistence on the palate will give this wine great drinkability.

Terroir
The vineyard of Château Poujeaux extends in a single block to the north-east of Moulis, on the gravel rises of Grand-Poujeaux. Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot take the lion's share of the property's plantings, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc accounting for only 10% of the vines. Plot-by-plot management of this fine terroir makes it possible to respect the personality of each parcel and each variety, and gives Château Poujeaux its unique character.
