Tasting
Rouge sombre, profonde et très intense avec des reflets bleu-violine. Nez très expressif et complexe, marqué par les fruits noirs (mûre, cassis), la cerise rouge, la violette, avec de subtiles touches de cèdre et d'épices douces. L'attaque est charnue et dense. Le milieu de bouche dévoile un équilibre remarquable entre la puissance aromatique des Cabernets et la douceur enveloppante du Merlot, soutenue par une structure tannique serrée mais parfaitement fondue

Terroir
Situé au sein de l'appellation Margaux, le terroir de Giscours, exceptionnel présente toutes les qualités requises pour produire un très grand vin. Trois magnifiques croupes de graves déposées par la Garonne au début de l’ère quaternaire en sont le secret. Les graves qui les composent jouent un rôle capital, reflétant les rayons du soleil et maintenant une certaine température nocturne : conditions rêvées pour une parfaite maturation des raisins. La topographie y est tout aussi importante : une altitude d'une vingtaine de mètres pour les croupes du Petit et du Grand Poujeau, 17 mètres pour celle de Cantelaude qui étire ses flans aux abords même du château, avec une orientation Est-Ouest.
