Tasting
COLOUR Black fruit, blackcurrant, blackberry cream, raspberry. NOSE Spicy notes, lightly toasted, silky tannins. PALATE A round, tender attack, full of freshness; flavourful tannins give a lovely length on the palate and great persistence. Average yield, powerful aromatic expression of fruit and freshness, silky tannic structure, very well balanced on the palate.

Winemaking
HARVEST 20 September to 4 October 2019. VINIFICATION Fermentation in small temperature-controlled stainless-steel vats, gentle extraction by punching down and pumping over, 30-day vatting. IN THE CELLAR The beautiful grapes, harvested in excellent conditions, arrived in the vats with high sugar levels which did not hinder vinification in any way. Gentle, progressive extraction gives this vintage the roundness, charm and fruit expected of a great wine.
Ageing
20 % new barrels - 80 % once-used barrels - 16 to 18 months' ageing.
Terroir
Clay-limestone soils.
