Winemaking
Harvest: Merlot 17/09 to 20/09 - Cabernet Franc 30/09 and 07/10 (picked by hand, in small crates). Vinification: cold soak for 5 days, total vatting time: 4 weeks. 5 % of the production underwent integral vinification. Vats: 22 epoxy-lined concrete tanks, fully temperature controlled.
Ageing
70 % new barrels, 27 % second-fill barrels & 3 % in amphora. Ageing time: 18 months.
Terroir
60 % grey clay & 40 % sandy gravel, over a grey clay subsoil
