Tasting
Visual: garnet color, iridescent with purple reflections. Olfactory: fine, precise, fruity nose, very typical of limestone soils. Taste: delicate attack, fresh and elegant, airy palate built on silky tannins. Saline finish, good length.

Winemaking
Whole berry fermentation in 25 small capacity thermo-regulated stainless steel vats, extraction by manual punching down, vatting for 21 to 28 days, malolactic fermentation in vats, jars and barrels. Selection by mechanical and visual sorting. Gentle extractions by manual punching down while controlling temperatures.
Ageing
40% new barrels - 58% barrels of 1 wine - 2% in jars. 14 to 18 months of ageing in underground cellars.
Terroir
Clay-limestone soils. Planting densities of 6,000 to 9,200 vines per hectare. An exceptional terroir on the Saint-Émilion limestone plateau, with its former stone quarries.
