Tasting
With its intense ruby red color, the 2008 has a lively, sparkling color. The nose is full of fresh red fruits. Oxygenation reveals some tempting spices, with notes of vanilla and cinnamon. The opening is fresh and aromatic, fleshed out by fine and silky tannins. 2008 enjoys a superb balance of flavors and great tannin structure. The second nose brings notes of undergrowth and a more pronounced blend of spices. The finish is very long, with a hint of wood. A very well constructed vintage, which may surprise some people.
