2020—A warm season, tempered in February by Pacific winds, and a harvest brought forward by a week: dense, opulent wines, with round tannins.
2018—Water reserves 29% above normal, then a summer without excess, stretched out ripening: ripe tannins without the acidity giving way.
2009—A cool spring then a dry summer that extended into April, for only 1,468 degree-days: wines more lithe than fleshy, with bright acidity.
