Tasting
Beautiful bright and intense color with purple reflections. Bright nose with notes of fresh red fruits. In attack, the crunchy Merlot brings relief and freshness, then the Cabernet Sauvignon takes the ascendancy. its assertive structure is marked by silky tannins which energize the mid-palate, with graphite notes. The overall impression is harmonious and elegant, highlighting a delicious and fleshy finish. A great Marquis de Terme, typical of our terroir of deep, clayey gravel.

Winemaking
Plot vinification in thermoregulated concrete, wood and stainless steel vats filled by gravity without pumping. Cold pre-fermentation macerations, alcoholic fermentation with selected yeasts, practice of punching down.
Ageing
14 months in French oak barrels, 40% of which is new oak. We will adapt the ageing time to each batch to preserve its expression, taking into account the characteristics specific to each of the carefully selected barrels.
Terroir
Situated at the heart of the village of Margaux-Cantenac, Marquis de Terme lives up to its rank of Grand Cru Classé. Located on a central plateau, its 45 hectares of deep gravel soils typical of Margaux are planted with noble varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot, which have made the international reputation of the wines of the Médoc. When Margaux and its terroir are mentioned, the first words that come to mind are elegance, finesse and delicacy. The appellation also counts the largest number of Grands Crus Classés, among them Château Marquis de Terme.
