Winemaking
Cold pre-fermentation macerations. 4 pump-overs per day during alcoholic fermentation. Concrete vats coated with epoxy resin and temperature-controlled.
Ageing
100% in French oak barrels, 40% of them new.
Terroir
The Corbin vineyard stretches in a single block over 13 hectares planted in the commune of Saint-Emilion, at the border of the Pomerol appellation. The property has two types of soil: old sands over a ferric clay subsoil, which give the wine its finesse, and clays, which give it power. It is this duality of terroirs that allows Corbin to produce wines of great complexity.
