In 2001 the de Malet Roquefort family fell for Château Chapelle d'Aliénor, whose vineyard lies on the hills not far from Saint-Emilion. Since then this château has been vinified with the same care as that given to the Grands Crus. A very particular atmosphere reigns over this vineyard, the reason being the presence of a chapel in the middle of the vines, watching over the proper ripening of the grapes.
