Tasting
Deep purple color with purplish reflections. Intense nose of ripe black fruits - blackcurrant, blackberry - enhanced with floral notes, incense and sweet spices. On the palate, the attack is ample, the touch silky, the tannins chiseled. The whole unfolds with balance and tension until a long and fresh finish, marked by the elegance of the Cabernet Sauvignon and the precision of the cellar work.

Terroir
Château Beychevelle, the Versailles of the Médoc, could only produce a wine of excellence. An exceptional 90-hectare vineyard of deep Garonne gravel, a winegrowing tradition going back to the Middle Ages and painstaking work in selection and ageing bring the wine to its full expression. The blend is 62% Cabernet Sauvignon, 31% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc and 2% Petit Verdot.
