Tasting
Vibrant and deep purple in colour. The nose reveals a generous fruity character, with notes of raspberry and cherry. Scents of violet, spices and mocha add complexity. The palate opens with a savoury and balanced attack, giving way to soft tannins and the elegant aromatic freshness of Cabernet Franc.
The vintage
The great clay-limestone terroirs on terraces and hillsides played a crucial role in mastering the climatic challenges of this vintage. Combined with the winegrowers' precise work in the vines, this ensured that the health of the grapes remained optimal as the weeks progressed. Ripeness and balance reached perfection thanks to a dry and mild September.
